Bryan Edward Martin

Bryan Edward Martin, 58-year-old Worland resident, passed away on July 5, 2017 at his home.

Bryan was born on June 23, 1959 in Fort Peck, Montana to Walter Edward and Shirley Anne (Mulholland) Martin, the oldest of three children.

Shortly after his birth the family moved to Cody, Wyoming where they raised their family. He enlisted in the US Army on April 8, 1977. After serving his country, he went to work in a life-long career working for Dale Weaver Inc.

He loved fishing, hunting and family, especially time with his three nieces. He lived a simple, quiet life, enjoying the little things along the way. He spent a lot of time with parents at Littlefield, Arizona when he wasn’t working. He enjoyed his bachelor’s life and was quite a private man. Although he had no children of his own, he loved the children of his friends and would spoil them when he could.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter on May 23, 2009 and mother, Shirley on August 5, 2011.

Survivors include his sister Rhonda (Mike) Vertner of Casper and their children, Trisha Vertner of Las Vegas, Nevada and Dawn (Adam) Clark of Englewood, Colorado; brother, Walter Martin (Mary) of Kenai, Alaska and their children, Callie (Chris) Giordano, Johnryan, Devon (Shay), and Mollie; aunts and uncles, Fred Martin of Torrington, Wyoming, Bob (Barb) Martin and Katherine Lambert of Cody, Wyoming, Ruth (Chuck) Medina of Sheridan, Wyoming, Julia Matthew of Phoenix, Arizona and numerous cousins.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, September 1, 2017 at Riverside Cemetery in Cody, Wyoming with a Celebration of Life following at the VFW. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #2673. Memorial donations may be made to help defray expenses.
