Irene Kiser, 90, passed away on December 10, 2016 at Worland Healthcare.

Irene was born in Denver, Colorado to John and Anna Marie (Kammerzell) Lipps. At the age of six the family moved to Wheatland, Wyoming where her parents farmed. Irene helped on the farm until she was 17. She then moved to town and worked. She met her future husband, John and they were married on February 23, 1947. To this union three sons were born, Donald, Jerry and John. In 1955 the family moved to Worland where she worked for Don Maples Supper Club and cooked at the hospital for five years. She then went to work as a waitress for the Elks Club for the next 18 years. After retirement she became a homemaker where she would cook, crochet, embroider and garden. Her family will miss her amazing cooking, especially her German dishes. Her grandchildren are still striving to cook like her with varied success.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John, 5 sisters, 2 brothers and oldest son, Donald.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Monica) Kiser of Peoria, Arizona and John Kiser of Worland, brothers, Donald Lipps of Cody and Ray (Delores) Lipps of Casper, 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to services.
